Currently working on ZettBrett, an ongoing project as part of the Advanced Digital Hardware Design course by Phil Salmony at FEDEVEL Academy, focused on designing a complete high-speed digital system from scratch using professional industry workflows. The project involves developing a board based on an FPGA and SoC and integrating modern high-speed interfaces such as USB 2.0 High-Speed, USB 3.x, DDR/SDRAM, Gigabit Ethernet, and MIPI CSI. It covers the full hardware development lifecycle, including system architecture definition, component selection, schematic design, high-speed PCB layout, power distribution and signal integrity considerations, and design validation using Altium Designer, with an emphasis on creating a manufacturable, industry-grade hardware platform.
